Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Puri – Jagannath Temple & Beach Visit
Upon arrival at Puri Railway Station, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. After check-in and freshening up, visit the world-famous 12th-century Jagannath Temple, one of the sacred Char Dham pilgrimage sites (only Hindus are allowed inside the temple premises).
Later, relax at Puri Golden Beach and enjoy the scenic beauty, especially during sunrise or sunset. Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Puri.
Day 02: Puri – Chilika Lake Excursion (Satapada)
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon spread over 1,100 sq. km and a paradise for migratory birds.
At Satapada, enjoy a boat ride (on direct payment) to spot the rare Irrawaddy Dolphins and visit the Sea Mouth (confluence of lake and sea), along with Birds Island and Virgin Island.
Later, return to Puri. Spend time at the beach or explore local markets.
Overnight stay in Puri.
Day 03: Puri – Konark – Bhubaneswar Transfer
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bhubaneswar. En route, visit Chandrabhaga Beach, known for its pristine shoreline.
Continue to the iconic Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s most remarkable architectural wonders, also known as the Black Pagoda.
On arrival in Bhubaneswar, check in to the hotel. Later, visit Khandagiri & Udayagiri Caves, ancient rock-cut caves with historical significance. Also visit Lingaraj Temple, Mukteswar Temple (known as the “Gem of Odisha Architecture”), and Kedargouri Temple.
Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 04: Bhubaneswar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day city tour. Visit Nandankanan Zoological Park, famous for its white tigers and lion safari (closed on Mondays).
Continue to Tribal Museum and Odisha State Museum (both closed on Mondays), showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the state. Also visit Ram Temple and enjoy free time for shopping in local markets.
Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
Day 05: Bhubaneswar – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit Kala Bhoomi – Odisha Crafts Museum (closed on Mondays) to explore traditional art and handicrafts.
Later, enjoy some leisure time for shopping before being transferred to Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Odisha.
